Article I: What EDEN stands for, what countries form EDEN and who are their representatives
§1 The following union of countries shall be formally named "Erepublik Defence and Economy Network", abbreviation "EDEN" or formal short name "Brotherhood of EDEN".
EDEN stands for mutual Respect, Loyalty, Valour, Unity, Friendship and Sacrifice. All members are to respect these values and uphold them within and outside their borders. All members have equal voice in alliance matters no matter the size, population or strength.
§2 Countries are represented in EDEN by their Country President or a person nominated by the Country President.
§3 Any and all countries joining members in EDEN are to accept this treaty in their congress and abide by its rules and guidelines.
Article II: Terms of membership, rights and duties of a member
§4 Country’s entrance into EDEN has to be approved unanimously by all EDEN member countries. Upon approval the country receives equal rights and responsibilities with other members.
§5 Countries willing to join EDEN have to undergo a trial period minimum of three months, after which the country can be proposed as a full member in EDEN.
Countries can be proposed for trial period only by member countries.
During trial period countries have no voting right in EDEN summits, but they are free to attend the summits if none of the member countries do not object. Otherwise they have the same responsibilities as members and they are to abide by this treaty.
Evaluation for membership during trial period is done by member countries and the HQ.
§6 Member countries have one voice in EDEN matters. All countries are free to express their opinion in alliance matters. All member countries are free to propose personnel in EDEN Headquarters in elections.
§7 Members of the Brotherhood of EDEN form a defensive alliance and they are bound to defend each other. They are obliged to participate in alliance military operations to their best ability.
Signing MPPs with all member countries is mandatory for member countries within strategic and economic boundaries.
§8 Military campaigns and involvement in military plans are to be discussed with and checked by the EDEN HQ before their execution.
§9 If a country wishes to leave EDEN it has to vote for it in their congress and gain over 50 % approval. After this vote the country can be expelled from EDEN by the Supreme Commander.
After resigning the country cannot apply EDEN trial membership within the next six months.
Article III: EDEN Command structure
§10 EDEN is lead by a Headquarters which is elected from a pool of officials nominated by the member countries. The Headquarters, later called HQ, holds operative power in EDEN and all member countries are to abide by its orders.
EDEN HQ is liable for its actions to the Presidents of all member countries.
§11 Highest power in EDEN is held by a summit in which all member country representatives are gathered. The summit is in quorum if over half of the representatives are present. The HQ is elected in the summits every two months and the summits decide the overall policy of EDEN for the month. Summits can be called upon if a Member country demands it.
Each Member may express votes "In favour", "Against" or "Abstain" regarding any proposal.
§12 The Headquarters is composed of following positions and their tasks are as follows:
* Supreme Commander
Coordinates and manages the HQ and represents the alliance. Can vote in summits.
* Military Organiser
Plans the strategy of the alliance and oversees campaigns.
* Military Commander
Commands and coordinates the joint armies of EDEN countries.
* Economy Organiser
Oversees and manages the EDEN treasury.
* Intelligence & Security Director
Gathers intelligence and maintains security in EDEN communication channels.
* Public Relations Organiser
Writes articles for EDEN.
Members of the HQ do not represent any single nation and they are to seek the best interests of the alliance as a whole.
§13 Each person in HQ can select assistants to help them in their tasks under the discretion of Supreme Commander. People who have served long in HQ and have gained insight in the alliance matters can be appointed as Distinguished Advisors to help guide the HQ in their decisions.
§14 Distinguished Advisors are tasked with overseeing the alliance in that the treaty is followed and the principles of EDEN are safeguarded.
Article IV: Treaty violations
§15 If a member does not comply with the decisions of the summits, or does not comply with orders coming from the HQ, the violations are to be taken into processing with the member and the HQ, and if the matter is not resolved, it will be discussed in a summit with country representatives who decide what actions to take.
§16 If a member country sees that another member has not fulfilled their duties and has not adhered to the principles of EDEN, it can be expelled from EDEN by a summit decision with a majority of ⅔ votes.

Articolo I: Significato di EDEN, le nazioni che la compongono e i loro rappresentanti
§1 L’unione di nazioni qui definita prende formalmente il nome di “Erepublik Defence and Economy Network”
(“Rete Economica e di Difesa di Erepublik”, ndR.), abbreviato in “EDEN” o nell’espressione formale “Fratellanza di EDEN”.
EDEN si fonda sul Rispetto reciproco, sulla Lealtà, sul Valore, sull’Unità, sull’Amicizia e sul Sacrificio. Tutti i membri sono tenuti al rispetto di questi valori e a sostenerli all’interno e al di fuori dei propri confini. Tutti i membri hanno pari diritto nelle discussioni dell’alleanza a dispetto della loro dimensione, della loro popolazione o della loro forza.
§2 Le nazioni sono rappresentate in EDEN dai rispettivi Presidenti o da persone da essi nominate.
§3 Ogni nuova nazione che aderisce ad EDEN è tenuta ad accettare questo trattato nel proprio congresso e tener fede alle sue regole e alle sue linee guida.
Articolo II: Termini di appartenenza, diritti e doveri dei membri
§4 L’ingresso di una nazione in EDEN dev’essere approvato all’unanimità da tutti gli stati membri di EDEN. Dopo l’approvazione, la nazione riceve gli stessi diritti e le stesse responsabilità degli altri membri.
§5 Le nazioni che desiderano entrare a far parte di EDEN devono sottostare a un periodo di prova minimo di tre mesi, dopo il quale la nazione può essere proposta come membro a pieno titolo di EDEN.
Le nazioni possono essere proposte come membri in prova solo da stati membri.
Durante il periodo di prova, le nazioni non hanno diritto di voto nelle riunioni di EDEN ma possono prendere parte alle riunioni se nessuno degli stati membri ha nulla da obiettare al riguardo. Per il resto, hanno le stesse responsabilità dei membri a pieno titolo e sono tenute ad attenersi a questo trattato.
La valutazione per l’appartenenza durante il periodo di prova è affidata agli stati membri e all’HQ.
§6 Ogni stato membro vale come uno negli affari di EDEN. Tutte le nazioni sono libere di esprimere la propria opinione sugli affari di EDEN. Tutti gli stati membri hanno la possibilità di proporre personale per il quartier generale di EDEN durante le sue elezioni.
§7 I membri della Fratellanza di EDEN costituiscono un’alleanza difensiva e sono tenuti alla difesa reciproca. Hanno l’obbligo di partecipare alle azioni militari dell’alleanza al massimo delle proprie possibilità.
La ratifica dei patti di reciproca protezione (MPP, ndR.) con ogni stato membro è obbligatoria per ogni stato membro nei limiti dei propri vincoli strategici ed economici.
§8 Le campagne militari e le partecipazioni a piani militari vanno discusse e controllate dall’HQ EDEN prima della loro attuazione.
§9 Se una nazione desidera abbandonare EDEN deve aprire una votazione al riguardo nel proprio congresso che consegua più del 50% del consenso. Dopo questa votazione la nazione può essere espulsa da EDEN dal Comandante Supremo.
Dopo l’espulsione la nazione non può prendere parte al periodo di prova in EDEN per i sei mesi successivi.
Articolo III: Struttura di comando di EDEN
§10 EDEN è guidata da un Quartier Generale che è eletto da una squadra di funzionari nominati dagli stati membri. Il Quarter Generale, da qui in poi HQ, detiene potere esecutivo in EDEN e tutti gli stati membri devono attenersi alle sue direttive.
L’HQ EDEN è responsabile del proprio operato dinnanzi ai Presidenti degli stati membri.
§11 La forma massima di potere in EDEN è rappresentata dalle riunioni in cui si riuniscono tutti gli stati membri. Le riunioni raggiungono il quorum se più della metà degli stati membri vi prende parte. L’HQ è eletto durante le riunioni ogni due mesi e nelle riunioni vengono decise le linee generali sulla politica tenuta da EDEN nel mese in corso. Una riunione può essere organizzata su richiesta di uno stato membro.
Ogni membro può esprimersi come “favorevole”, “contrario” o “astenuto” ad ogni proposta.
§12 Il Quartier Generale è composto dalle seguenti figure e i loro compiti stabiliti di seguito:
* Comandante Supremo
Coordina e gestisce l’HQ e rappresenta l’alleanza. Ha diritto di voto durante le riunioni.
* Stratega
Pianifica le strategie dell’alleanza e sovrintende alle campagne.
* Comandante Militare
Comanda e coordina gli eserciti congiunti delle nazioni EDEN.
* Economy Organiser
Controlla e gestisce il Tesoro EDEN.
* Direttore della Sicurezza e dell’Intelligence
Rinuisce l’intelligence e mantiene la sicurezza nei canali di comunicazione EDEN.
* Addetto alle Pubbliche Relazioni
Scrive articoli per EDEN.
I membri dell’HQ non rappresentano singole nazioni ma devono mirare all’interesse dell’alleanza nella sua interezza.
§13 Ogni membro dell’HQ può scegliere degli assistenti per aiuto nello svolgimento delle proprie funzioni a discrezione del Comandante Supremo. Le persone che hanno servito l’HQ per lungo tempo ed hanno acquisito intuito sufficiente ad affrontare le questioni di EDEN possono essere nominati Consulenti Illustri per aiutare l’HQ a prendere delle decisioni.
§14 I Consulenti Illustri hanno il compito di sovraintendere all’alleanza assicurandosi che il trattato sia rispettato e che siano salvaguardati i principi alla base di EDEN.
Articolo IV: Violazioni del Trattato
§15 Se uno stato membro non si attiene alle decisioni prese in sede di riunione o non si attiene agli ordini presi dall’HQ, la violazione va portata a processo a cui prendono parte lo stato membro e l’HQ; e se la questione non viene risolta, verrà discussa in una riunione nella quale rappresentanti delle nazioni stabiliranno le azioni da intraprendere.
§16 Se uno stato membro nota che un altro stato membro non adempie pienamente ai propri doveri e non aderisce ai principi di EDEN, può essere espulso da EDEN con una decisione presa in sede di riunione che abbia i ⅔ dei voti di maggioranza.
